Security recommendations

  • The Universidad de La Laguna will never contact you by email asking for your password. Do not trust any message that asks you for this type of confidential information.
  • Ensure your operating system, web browser and antivirus are kept up-to-date.
  • Use a trustworthy web browser to log into MyAdmin. Never try to access MyAdmin using links found in suspicious emails or websites that are not rated as secure.
  • Never save your password/s on a computer belonging to someone else.
  • Make sure to log out correctly by closing the session and also the browser once you have finished. This is especially important on shared computers.
  • Select a secure password to step up your security. Do not use information that is easy to guess, such as your date of birth. Do not write down your passwords.
  • Consult the Legal Disclaimer of MyAdmin and the Privacy Policy of the Universidad de La Laguna.
  • Ensure your personal contact details are up-to-date so we can successfully communicate with you via the correct channels. When starting a new administrative procedure you may notice that the Autofill feature on the forms is not loading your personal details correctly, e.g. the information may be incorrect, incomplete, or obsolete; if so, you can ask the University to rectify them via the Procedure on the Right to Access and Modify Personal Data.
