Purpose of administrative process

To process and manage formal acceptance of the Universidad de La Laguna’s School of Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies’ Code of Best Practice.

Description

Article 9.8 of Royal Decree 99/2011 of 28 January, which regulates official doctoral studies states: “Any natural person forming part of a School of Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies is legally obliged to declare their conformity with the Code of Best Practice followed by said School.” The aforementioned Code of Best Practice aims to protect the right to individual freedom and creation. Acceptance and application of the Code shall form an integral part of all research activities and shall be made explicit in the contractual commitments researchers hold with the institution, and wider society.

- Regulation governing Official Postgraduate Studies in the Universidad de la Laguna (Agreement 2C/CG 25-07-2017 approving the Universidad de La Laguna’s Official Doctoral Studies Regulations).
